HP 840 G1 Overview

The HP EliteBook 840 G1 E3W24UT#ABA 14″ Notebook Computer runs on the dual-core 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-4200U processor with 4GB of RAM to allow you to work on multiple applications at the same time. The 128GB hard drive provides ample space to store photos, music, files, and more. For viewing content, the notebook is outfitted with a 14″ display and integrated Intel HD 4400 graphics that provide a resolution of 1366 x 768. This notebook also offers DisplayPort and VGA ports which allow you to connect to a second display for more on-screen workspace or to a projector for presentations.

The HP Elite book 840 G1 has a few features that make it unique when compared to a standard notebook. This notebook features a dual-core 4th generation 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-4200U processor, with 3MB of L3 cache. With Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 the maximum clock rate this processor can achieve is 2.6 GHz. The Haswell CPU uses less energy to give you a longer battery life when compared to previous Intel processors. Having two cores also allows the notebook to run multiple programs at the same time without slowing down the computer.
